So I've been applying to jobs like crazy in the Bay Area for the past few months so that once this semester ended I could stay in the City. If I don't find a job, then I would have to move back home with parents and continue looking for a job from home.
A few weeks ago, I landed a job interview with a company called Bakers of Paris for an Administrative Assistant/HR position. The interview went well and a week later I got asked for a second interview. The second interview went well too, but I wasn't as confident that I would get the job as I was after the first interview.
And then this past Saturday afternoon I received a call from the owner of the company telling me that I GOT THE JOB! That same day I called and secured an apartment that Vince and I really liked and which we will be moving into on the 30th :).
This had really been an exciting past few days and I am seriously looking forward to 2011. Thanks everyone for your prayers and support.
